I am Bobo and my Chinese name is Chin Tzu Lin. I guess some people might be curious about my English name. Actually, it originates from a chubby baby girl who loves playing balls when she was in a cradle. The alphabets in my name consist of five circle “B-o-b-o”. But that’s the start of my colorful life.

          I was born in Sanxia, a beautiful place in New Taipei City. To be cliche, I am in a warm family full of happiness. Yet, different from others, my parents always support me and always fully support my decision, or we will discuss trivial things together when it comes to the dilemma. Besides, since I was a child, I always keep sharing all the things happening in my day at soon as I met my parents after school. It is my family that I become a person with optimistic and outgoing personality.

        As an extroverted, enthusiastic and outgoing person, I put a lot of beautiful, challenging and special things in my life. There are some prominent events in my life. I love challenges, so I take part in a lot of activities which can sharpen my soft skills and language ability. For example, I was the president of the group: Student Ambassador of International Visitors (SAIV). I am the English-spoken host of several activities. I am also a lecturer to teach some skills in my group. Actually, there are too many unforgettable memories and experiences in my SAIV year.           Besides those activities in my group as I mentioned, I am also a person full of the passion of teaching English. It might be connected to my extroverted personality. I have several experiences in English teaching and I am also the teaching assistant of our department’s professor. I am fond of sharing and teaching others about what I own.

          Furthermore, when it comes to my hobby, I definitely won’t miss collecting postcards. By Postcrossing, this website and program, I get another perspective toward myself and the world. According to more than six hundred postcards, I know more than six hundred people’s life. They share their culture, cuisine, weather, news and landscapes with me. I am not only collecting postcards but also collecting all the stories from people all over the world. I think this hobby also has a strong connection to my personality. :D

          Last, I want to share a motto which accompanies for several years. “ What is worth doing is worth doing well, and then the  more you do the more you can do.” I firmly believe that once we put something in our life, we must gain something from it. And do everything with efforts is also an important thing. I always inspire myself with this sentence and keep pursuing my dream and my goals.
