旁白:梨山茶是高級工藝,要做好,真的很難。

旁白:做茶有多難,梨山土生土長的茶農,陳孟智最知道。

陳:在工作的環境下是原始森林,然後跟茶樹一起生長,看看昆蟲,看看土壤,

     想一下說下一季的茶葉我們要做什麼樣的風味給大家去品嚐。

旁白:說得一派輕鬆,但6年前陳孟智剛回到自家茶園耕作,一季春茶就幾乎把他擊垮。

陳:一開始剛銜接的時候,我就是以電腦工程師的方式去做管理也好,製作也好,在製作過程才發現說,這不是單單像電腦工程這麼簡單。

旁白:電腦工程師出身的他,千算萬算,算不到老天爺根本不想讓他算,高海拔的茶區優勢變成劣勢。

陳:在海拔兩千公尺以上高山,它的早晚溫差極大,在製作過程當中你發現你會被天氣所影響。

旁白:梨山的好,不只山好,茶好,製茶的工藝更好。

陳:茶湯顏色,綠中帶黃,就是代表著梨山茶高海拔的香氣與喉韻,你如果太青,

     他只有香氣沒有喉韻,那也很常有一些人會有腸胃不適的問題。

旁白:結合好茶與好工藝,他的梨山茶才真正開花結果。

         在台灣獲獎無數,更連續三年拿到比利時iTQi三星認證的水晶獎盃。

陳:我是梨山小孩,我想把梨山茶做好,讓世界因為好茶認識梨山,更認識台灣,這樣我就心滿意足了。

English Translation

Narrator: The tea of Li-Mountain is an advanced craftsmanship. It is really hard to cultivate it well.

Narrator: Meng Chi Chen, a native tea farmer in Li-Mountain, definitely knows how hard it is to grow and produce the tea.

Chen: The working environment is the primitive forest. We grow up with those tea trees, with the observation of insects and the soil. At the same time, we are thinking about what kind of flavor of the tea we should plant for people to taste in the next season.

Narrator: He talks about this in such a relaxing and easy way. However, when he went back to his own farm to cultivate those teas six years ago, a season of spring tea nearly beat him down. 

Chen: At the beginning to take over this job, I use the way like computer engineer to manage and produce those teas. But during the process of producing those teas, I find that it isn’t merely as simple as computer engineering. 

Narrator: As the background of being a computer engineer, he thinks thoroughly, but the god and the fate actually don’t allow him to think and plan those things. The advantage of the high-altitude tea area becomes the disadvantage.

Chen:The mountain has a height of over two thousand meters. The temperature of the morning and the night is extremely different. During the production process, we find that you will be influenced by the weather.

Narrator: What Li-Mountain assets is not only the mountain itself or the tea, but also the craftsmanship of producing teas.  

Chen: If the color of tea is green with slightly yellow, it represents the high-altitude aroma and special taste of Li-Mountain’s. But if the color is too green, it means that there’s only fragrance without special taste. And it’s normal that some people have gastrointestinal discomfort.

Narrator: With the combination of the good quality of tea and the craftsmanship, his tea of Li-Mountain really flourishes now. He has won several prizes and even gets the crystal trophy certificated by iTQi in Belgium for three consecutive years. 

Chen: I am the native child from Li-Mountain and I want to produce the tea of Li-Mountain successfully. I want to let the world know more about Li-Mountain by the good quality of tea. Then, I will be satisfied.
